| This post is the last of a 3 part series (read part I and part II here), following Blondin's journey through the start-up funding competition, Alabama Launchpad. All summer and most of last spring we have worked tirelessly preparing and modifying our business plan, pathway to market and proposal pitch. However, as I am sure most of our followers know, we did not succeed in impressing upon the judges our need for these funds, and therefore we were not awarded funding. I am pleased to say though that a number of other companies that were competing with us did, you can find out more about them in the Al.com article here. And although we did not win funding, we still found the process valuable in terms of business growth, planning and networking and would hily recommend future local start-ups to participate in this competition. |
Now what?
And again! We want to thank all of our family, friends and mentors who helped to guide and support us through this competition and we know that you will all see great things from Blondin Bioscience in the near, near future!
